You will be part of the remarkable success of Thistle Manor and join the existing experienced staff team. You will be required to:

 

  • Demonstrate overall competence in Mental Health, personal and social needs of residents with a mental health diagnosis. Meet the requirements of the national care standards, including promoting care that ensures, security, dignity and independence;

  • To maintain care skills at a high level and undertake continuing professional development in order to enhance practice standards.

 

Your day to day job role will include:

 

  • Forming therapeutic caring relationships with the residents and support them to regain independence;

  • Develop effective working relationships with the other employees within the home;

  • Support an open, positive and inclusive working culture;

  • Participate in the evaluation of the home against agreed organisational goals, business and quality objectives;

  • Minimise legal risks;

  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of care policies and procedures;

  • Complete and maintain clinical records, ensuring that the information recorded is of a high standard;

  • Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the homes quality assurance programme;

  • Systematically solve day to day problematical issues which arise;

  • Undertake cleaning and domestic duties as appropriate in order to ensure effective and efficient housekeeping and ADL instruction.

  • Competitive Hourly rate, starting from £12.50 per hour (dependant on qualifications and experience).
